Chelsea vs Stoke City Premier League Match – 14 August 2011

Stoke City will be hosting Premier League runner ups on the Opening day of the League season 2011-2012 which will be starting from Saturday, 13 August but Chelsea will play their match against Stoke on Sunday afternoon and it will be a very exciting match as Stoke are a very difficult team to play against, specialy at their home ground. Chelsea will have to cut their work out ad be at their best to get somthing from this match. New Manager Villa-Boes will be looking to start the season with a win and get 3 points on the table.

Stoke City tend to play better at home and they had a very good record last season, they do play physical football but Chelsea have the players and the resources to get better of them. If Stoke can get a draw and start their season with a good result against Chelsea they will be really excited and the fans as well.

Chelsea on the other hand did not spend big in the Transfer window, their striker Fernando Torrest will be eager to go out there and start performing on the pitch as he has been a flop since his Janaury transfer sale from Liverpool to Chelsea.
